The Beauty of Soft

Welcome to the all-new 2025 Collection Series

We had a single word in mind when we began the creation of the ‘25 Collection: ‘Soft.’
Soft in look, soft in sound and soft in feel. How do we do that?

The Beauty of Soft

Every one of our existing models has undergone a substantial redesign for ‘25 Collection and five new models join the lineup. Some of the changes to existing models are more noticeable while others are more subtle. Every design change was made with the intent to make the putters more beautiful, touchable, pleasing and memorable.

Every radius has been re-imagined, every edge has been rethought and every top line refined. Our attempt was to make a beautiful design even more striking and perform at a higher level.

The ‘25 Collection features our new Anthracite finish. Deep in luster, the finish was chosen for its playability as well as its ability to bring subtle attention to the nuances of the softened designs. The mallets with their larger surface areas feature a light satin texture to eliminate glare, while the all new Austin and Hollywood blades show off more of our exquisite slow milled process.

The final touches include a new Heritage Blue and White color scheme, with a touch of Italian Racing Red on the grips, head covers and many of the new hosel designs.

The ‘25 Collection offers stunning looks from every angle.

The Joy of Feel

The Joy of Feel

There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of a perfectly struck putt, especially from an expertly crafted milled putter. No vibration, just the feel of the golf ball melting into the putter face.

A lot of things go into creating this sensation — the choice of materials, the thicknesses of certain parts of the design, the shape itself, the design of the hosel, the mill pattern and pattern depth on the face. When all of these things that go into creating feel fall into place, you will recognize the end result immediately, and as importantly, you will also notice when something is off.

The goal for ‘25 Collection was to create a slightly softer feel. We still need to create feedback, but we wanted to further reward a well struck putt. To accomplish our mission we studied every aspect of putter design that contributes to vibration. In the end, we changed everything — some things just a little, other things quite substantially.

Our material for ’25 Collection is 304 SS. This material is a bit softer and machines and finishes beautifully. Most importantly, it help us improve feel. Our face thicknesses have been modified to varying degrees depending on the model, all in an effort to create a slightly softer feel.

Most notably, we introduce a new face milling. Our Deep Tuna Face Mill is slightly deeper than it was in our ‘24 Collection, but the face also features our Small Tuna over mill. The face mill is aesthetically pleasing, but beyond that, it meaningfully contributes to the feel we sought. The face milling alone requires extensive machine time, but after you hit your first putt, we think you will agree it was worth the time.

The Significance of Sound

The Significance of Sound

It’s been said sound and feel are one and the same, and while we agree there is a connection, we believe the performance of sound is often overlooked in modern club design. We believe sound is one of the most important aspects in club design and especially in putters. Creating a putter that sounds pleasing is absolutely important, but we also believe sound is linked to a golfer’s ability to control distance. Further, the sound and feel of a putter should correlate with the actual impact ratio the putter produces.

Creating World Class Performance

Creating World Class Performance

We strive to create harmony of feel, sound and speed control in every individual design we create. When done properly your ability to control distance on your putts increases.

Many of the factors that go into producing feel are the same things that go into producing sound. Our goal remained to slightly soften the experience.

Our new face mill pattern was designed to address this. The pattern was designed much like the tread pattern on a car’s tire is designed. The tire pattern is designed to channel water and debris away from the tire’s surface, creating a contact patch. Our face mill does the same thing in theory, though instead of channeling water it channels vibration and its frequency. To make a putter sound softer, we must control the amount of sound that gets picked up by the golfer’s lead ear: Left ear for the right handed golfer and the opposite for a left-handed golfer. The less sound the golfer detects, the quieter the sound and the softer the perceived feel.

The final piece of the performance puzzle is to find harmony between the feel, sound and resulting ball speed. To create a great putter, these must be synchronized. Again, many factors influence this including the mill pattern of the face. Our new pattern is designed to work together with the rest of the design to create an overall performance package that is controlled, consistent and rewarding.

The 2025 Collection series — a celebration of soft.
