Crafted with a larger, more stable head than the standard TRTL, the MAX is designed for superior MOI and forgiveness. It features Odyssey’s zero-torque Square 2 Square setup, which minimizes face rotation, keeping the face square to the path throughout the stroke.
Like the TRTL, the MAX’s strong performance starts with its multi-material construction: a steel body, a lightweight ABS shell, and a lightweight aerospace-grade aluminum sole. This advanced design allows weight to be pushed to the perimeter, maximizing the putter’s stability and forgiveness. Odyssey’s new Ai-Star insert is the second critical component. Developed using AI, the insert’s cutting-edge dual-layer construction enlarges the sweet spot, delivering remarkable speed consistency and distance control across the face. Additionally, Forward Roll Design grooves work in unison with the dual-layer insert to promote optimal forward roll immediately after impact.
Odyssey precisely engineered both TRTLs to sit naturally flush to the ground and square to the target. The way a putter head sits at address directly influences alignment, and the TRTL’s refined sole geometry helps players set up to the ball confidently and accurately, enhancing consistency on the greens.
