Designed for higher swing speed players, the LS is the lowest-launching, lowest-spinning, most workable model in the Qi10 Driver family. The LS boasts three additional yards of distance compared to its predecessor, the Stealth 2 Plus. The primary contributors to the newfound distance gains are a re-engineered 60X Carbon Twist Face that more efficiently transfers energy into the ball and a new supportive structure back it. The structure acts like a hinge, allowing the fast to flex and rebound more, resulting in explosive ball speeds.
The LS also surpasses the Stealth 2 in several other performance categories, predominantly due to its new Infinity Carbon Crown. Now spanning 97% of the total area available, the crown frees up discretionary weight, which is redistributed lower in the head. Relocating the CG significantly boosts MOI, stability, and forgiveness. Additionally, spin is reduced by 100 RPMs, and launch conditions are slightly elevated.
TaylorMade Qi10 LS Driver – Features:
- Mid-launch, low-spin with a lower CG and high MOI for golfers seeking the ultimate in low-spin performance
- Classic address shape inspires confidence
- Strategically engineered to reduce spin and enhance workability without sacrificing stability
- Re-engineered 60X Carbon Twist Face is much lighter than titanium and transfers energy more efficiently
- New supporting structure promotes more face flex for added ball speed while improving the face’s durability
- New Infinity Carbon Crown covers 97% of the crown area, freeing up mass for better weight distribution and forgiveness; also provides enhanced alignment thanks to a high contrast topline embedded in the face
- Thru-Slot Speed Pocket retains ball speed on low-face strikes
- Twist Face uses corrective angles to remedy inherent mis-hit tendencies, resulting in straighter shots
- Clean and powerful sound at impact
- Sliding 18g weight can be shifted to produce a draw or fade bias
