Squarely aimed at players seeking the ultimate blend of distance and forgiveness, the TaylorMade Qi10 Driver is highlighted by a massive 5% increase in MOI compared to its predecessor, the Stealth 2. The vault in forgiveness is a by product of two critical advancements working in unison. Specifically, a new Infinity Carbon Crown covers nearly the entirety of the total crown area, creating discretionary weight that’s strategically relocated in the extremities of a new, slightly larger head shape. The resulting perimeter-weighted, exceptionally stable design reduces the club’s ability to twist when a mis-hit occurs, producing straighter, more accurate drives. Distance also receives a bump in TaylorMade’s latest driver offering, thanks to a new supportive structure surrounding the face. Acting like a hinge, the structure allows the face to flex and rebound to a greater degree, with the ensuing spring-like effect generating extra ball speed versus Stealth 2. As an added benefit, the 60X Carbon Twist Face is now vastly more durable than the previous model.
TaylorMade Qi10 Driver – Features:
- Mid-high launch, mid-low spin
- New, slightly larger address shape offers a clean, confidence-inspiring look at address
- Lower CG and higher MOI than Stealth 2 create an ideal combination of distance and forgiveness
- Re-engineered 60X Carbon Twist Face is much lighter than titanium and transfers energy more efficiently
- New supporting structure promotes more face flex for added ball speed while improving the face’s durability
- New Infinity Carbon Crown covers 97% of the crown area, freeing up mass for better weight distribution and forgiveness
- Thru-Slot Speed Pocket retains ball speed on low-face strikes
- Twist Face uses corrective angles to remedy inherent mis-hit tendencies, resulting in straighter shots
- Clean and powerful sound at impact
- Loft sleeve allows for +/- 2° of loft adjustability and lie adjustability
